EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION
Our E.C.E segment is equipped with a rich variety of Montessori materials.The children work with these hands-on developmentally appropriate materials which foster their observation, concentration, creativity, and independence. Our goal is to develop an enduring desire for learning in the child. Quranic Dua’s and Islamic Studies provide the foundation for Islamic development in the child. Daily instructions of Quran, Sunnah & Islamic Studies are part of the core curriculum that help the children learn about Islam as a Deen. We adequately prepare our students in such a way that they become useful citizens, having independent thinking qualities, with firm faith in Allah and capable of handling issues related to Islam in the modern world.
PLAYGROUP (2.00-2.5 years)
Alyaqeen’s Playgroup welcomes children aged 2 years upwards. The aim of the Playgroup is for a child to develop social skills and learn through play.
Nursery (2.5-3.5 years)
At Al-Yaqeen, Nursery children work with very special Montessori equipments in classes filled with activity and explorations. There are hundreds of hands-on activities in each classroom which makes learning fun. The teaching strategies focus on the development of child’s own personality and group participation in the following areas:
- Practical Life Exercises
- Sensorial
- English Language
- Math
- Islamiat
- Urdu
- Qaida
- Art
KINDERGARTEN (3.5-5.5years)
Children four to five years old go through a critical transition from Nursery to Kindergarten. Alyaqeen offers a Kindergarten program that will prepare your child for the academic and social challenges of a primary school environment. In Kindergarten the academic focus becomes more evident and clearly defined. Some of the learning areas the children will be participating in are: Life Skills, Exploration, Self-Expression, Creativity, Language and Religion. The skills to be introduced by these areas will be: Reading, Mathematics, Science, Large and Small Motor Skills, English Language, Qur’an Memorization, Dua’s and Islamic Practice. It emphasizes structured play which, In sha Allah, will socialize the child for a school atmosphere in the years to come. It also lays great stress on character building.
