Our E.C.E segment is equipped with a rich variety of Montessori materials.The children work with these hands-on developmentally appropriate materials which foster their observation, concentration, creativity, and independence. Our goal is to develop an enduring desire for learning in the child. Quranic Dua’s and Islamic Studies provide the foundation for Islamic development in the child. Daily instructions of Quran, Sunnah & Islamic Studies are part of the core curriculum that help the children learn about Islam as a Deen. We adequately prepare our students in such a way that they become useful citizens, having independent thinking qualities, with firm faith in Allah and capable of handling issues related to Islam in the modern world.
At the end of the final term of kindergarten students have the option of either taking Hifz or join the regular classes. The children, whose parents give their consent for Hifz are promoted to the Hifz section while the others move to the primary section. The primary section comprises of grades I-V, boys and girls are segregated from grade VI and onwards.
The Upper Grades program is designed to extend and enhance the basic skills students need to be successful in school and in life. From wonder and discovery comes understanding. Students are encouraged to think creatively, to be innovative, to explore all the possibilities, and to think for themselves.
The school follows the curriculum of Cambridge System of Studies up to GCE O Level and at the same time an integrated Hifz Policy. However, for students of Grade –IX and X who opt for Matriculation, the scheme of studies of Karachi board of secondary education is followed. The child at the Al-Yaqeen School will have the opportunity to be a Hafiz / Hafizah’ as well as complete his /her O Level.
Regular hifz students memorize the Holy Quran along with the education on the pattern of Cambridge system. Students whose parents opt for the Hifz section are shifted to regular hifz classes.
We offer special Hifz to our students after completion of grade III. Students are shifted to special Hifz so that he/she can concentrate only on Hifz for early completion. The children are expected to complete Hifz in three years after starting Hifz in grade –I. After completing Hifz they join regular classes to study for their O Level or Matriculation as per their choice.
The school provides extra support to the Huffaz after the completion of their Hifz by giving them coaching in catch up classes.
